Terps Wrestling #1 in ACC

I wanted to give the wrestling team at Maryland some time, since its the first time they have owned the ACC crown since 1973. Maryland has won the most ACC titles with 20 overall. Seems like Maryland used to be a wrestling mecca. Now I do have to boast that after looking at their roster, most of their wrestlers are from the keystone state. Pennsylvania is just a powerhouse in wrestling. Anyways, congrats to them. Go terps.

I'm curious to see who everyone would like to see the Ravens Draft this year. I would love to see them address Defensive End or Cornerback. I believe these positions will be much improved if Rolle, McCallister, and Trevor Pryce come back Healthy, but I think the end is near for Pryce and Rolle. If they don't go with a Defensive End, I think it show they see a bright future for Antwan Barnes and Maybe even Dan Cody.

ESPN's Andy Glockner writes an
update(http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bubblewatch?id=71) on the bubble teams and what those teams need to do to dance. Nobody wants to dance with the fat lady (NIT)...its all about the hot blonde (March Madness).

Tonight's game versus Clemson is a must win in my eyes. With a win tonight, the Terps will have beaten a team with 20 wins (Clemson) and of course the away game at #1 North Carolina.

The Preseason Coach's Association Lacrosse Poll is out, and reminds me that warm weather is coming soon, Hopefully! Loyola will certainly be tough to beat as they return attackmen Joe Cummings and Steele Stanwick. They are certainly predicting Landon and St. Mary's to have their best seasons of this decade. Should add extra excitement to the Landon/Georgetown Prep Rivalry!

The terps Rotation

It certainly has been interesting to watch the Terps playing rotation throughout the year, especially considering their youth. Dupree played a lot at the beginning, and now not so much, Burney and McAlpin have gotten some suprise playing time recently, Ocassional time for Shane Walker, and Tucker and Bowie's seems to go in and out! And Dino Gregory continues to be a no show.

I'm curious what people think of this, and the potential future of this team with these players, as well as the addition of Sean Mosley SF/SG, Gus Gilchrest PF/C and Bobby Maze the Transfer Point Guard.

I was wondering what everyone thought of Troy Smith's performance vs. the Seahawks?
It was his first NFL start and he threw for 199 yards on 16-33 passes! He had one TD and one fumble!
