Travis Reed of McDonogh and Boys' Latin has taken the College Lacrosse World by Storm. Three Straight Hat Tricks for the two time MIAA A conference Champion. Travis Reed won a MIAA Crown in 2005 as a sophomore at McDonogh, Transferred to BL the next year (2006) when his Father Jake Reed (Head Coach) was let go, and the Lakers went undefeated and won the MIAA crown and finished the Year #1 in the Nation. Travis was awarded the Baltimore Sun Player of the Year. His Senior Year they Lost in the Finals to Loyola.
Great to see Travis do so well, he was one of the more accurate shooters I have seen at the High School level!
Stanwick
Travis Reed was certainly quite the player, and he will be quite the player at Maryland. It should be interesting as the other great player of last year, Steele Stanwick, becomes his Rival once again in College. Steele will be attending Virginia, and I think he will be another freshman phenom. He is one of the smoothest lacrosse players you will see!
Reed
He is certainly on his way to quite the career with the Terps. Maybe they can finally win another National title with the great young talent they have. Travis has a shot that is a nightmare for opposing goalies. It is an accurate missle that tends to come from the left, which adds to the Deception. Hopefully he can keep it up, not like you can leave for the draft early in Lax.
