I was wondering what everyone thought of Troy Smith's performance vs. the Seahawks?
It was his first NFL start and he threw for 199 yards on 16-33 passes! He had one TD and one fumble!
Personally I thought it was encouraging, keeping in mind it was his first ever start, and he is a rookie! He is very elusive, throws a nice ball, and appears to be a leader! He struggled with the pass rush, but managed to only get sacked once. He should have released the ball sooner, but the recivers could have been well covered. Once again the offensive game plan showed absolutely no creativity while facing an offense that did! JaMarcus Russell threw three pics, and failed to get 100 yards in his game action!
It appears Troy will start again this Sunday, and hopefully we will get a better Idea about his future status with a very important draft pic approaching!
