Lou Eckerl and His Calvert Hall Cardinals baseball program is getting the some much deserved credit after last year's 33-0 Record and 75-0 overall record between Varsity, JV, and the Freshman Squad. They are the #2 Ranked team in the Nation according to Baseball America's Preseason High School Rankings. Calvert Hall will be looking to capture their 4th Straight League title and continue their 37 game winning steak.

The Cardinals will feature 15 Seniors, Led by Pitcher and Third Basemen Kevin Lingerman. Kevin Batted .390 and had a 7-0 Record with a 1.49 Era.

The Orioles have traded Eric Bedard to the Seattle Mariners for young OF Adam Jones, Reliver George Sherrill, and three minor league pitchers! It's official, the nameless decade (2000-2009) is a waste for the Orange and Black! So far we finished third 4 years ago, and the rest was 4th place finishes. Not a single season above or at .500! Chances are this year and next year will be the same.

The Patriots headed into the Super Bowl 18-0 and looking to become the second team to finish the NFL season undefeated, COUGH,COUGH,CHOKE!!!! This is great! We are now spared of hearing about how great the Bill Belichick, Bob Kraft, Tom Brady, and a Geriatric Defense are all offseason!

The Towson Tigers 3 game winning streak came to an end visiting the 1st place VCU rams. Towson is now 5-6 in the CAA.
